Additives and Modifiers
Additives and modifiers are substances added to polymers to enhance or modify their properties, performance, or processing characteristics. These substances can impart various functionalities to polymers, ranging from improving mechanical properties to enhancing durability or adding specific aesthetic qualities. Additives and modifiers play a crucial role in tailoring polymers to meet the diverse requirements of different applications across industries.
Flame retardants
It's is a type of innovative halogen-free Flame-Retardant PE compound granule, a combination of flame retardants and matrix resins made to meet the increasing demand of higher FR requirements in the Aluminium Composite Panel (ACP) industries. It is mainly compounded of Mg(OH)2 and Polyethylene(PE). Mg(OH)2 is a new generation of flame retardant material to replace the old one - Al(OH)3. Mg(OH)2 has higher decomposition temperature than Al(OH)3, absorbs more calories, generates less smoke and is easier for processing; it's becoming the more and more popular choice.
Glass Filled
This compound is reinforced with glass fiber and has excellent impact resistance. It is specially designed to enhance the polymer’s mechanical strength and dimensional stability. With our extensive experience in developing filled compounds with glass fiber additives, we help thermoplastic producers achieve high optical clarity and enhanced rigidity for the most demanding applications. The glass fiber filled compound is customisable with a broad range of polymers, including PP, PE, PPS, PPSU, PTFE, PC, NYLON,POM and other high-performing resins. A compatible carrier blended with glass fiber serves ideally as reinforcement material as it improves the mechanical properties of the compound like impact resistance, dimensional stability, and flexural strength. We tailor GF compounds with different glass fiber ratios to meet end-product requirements.
